This book is for fun, but on a more serious note ....

I bought this book because my boyfriend and I wanted to improve our sex lives. We are pretty open, and this book is about fun and games, so weve had fun with it. On a more serious note, I got another book at the same time, Five Minutes to Orgasm Every Time You Make Love. This book dealt more directly with my "problem", that Ive always required oral sex to have an orgasm. Since he doesnt always want to perform oral sex, this book was a little eye-opener. The basic idea seems to work for us. 1001 Nights is a great little Valentines day experience,when we set aside lots of time for lovemaking, but Five Minutes to Orgasm gave us an approach that is easy to use in day to day life.

Dont Listen To The Grinches!!

Before my boyfriend and I bought this book, some of the negative reviews here on Amazon made me hesitate. Im very glad we bought it anyway, because we are enjoying it (and her other books) immensely. Not all of the scenarios are as daring as some may think, but I realize that I have probably been more adventurous than most in my life! I think that what most of the people who didnt like this book were missing was the anticipation that this book brings. Obviously not all of the scenarios will be right for you, or even new. The thing that you lose in a long-term commitment is that edge of anticipation, even if you still have a fulfilling, wonderful sex life. You already know youre going to get it, and you know it will be good. What this book adds is the tingle of anticipation. You still know the sex will be awesome, you just dont know exactly how. And just knowing that your lover has been planning something for you all week is very, very special, even if your "surprise" is a little silly, or even a little familiar. I think this book will give you back what you put into it, and Id hate to have anyone miss out on it because a few people didnt enjoy it.

FUN-FUN-FUN

Sex and loving is about having fun & using your imagination. This book is a terrific tool for expanding on that. In addition to our already TERRIFIC love life, we have these little "escapades" thrown in every now & then. We dont stick to everything exactly (theres some bizaar stuff in there) but were having fun with our own versions of her suggestions. I love knowing that my partner is taking the time to plan a little something special just for me and I enjoy doing the same for him. He planned a "shower" for me...complete with an invitation and gifts. Just knowing he took the time to buy the invitation, pick out the soaps & shampoos and wrap them..he loved it and so did I. It cost a few dollars..but so what..Were worth it! Ive recommended this book to a few couples & pass my pages on to one of my friends for her to read and get a few ideas from. I think shell be buying her own soon!! Go for it...what have you got to lose?
