Im a guy, and I read parts of this book while browsing in a bookstore. I sure wish all single women would read this, especially the tips in chapter two. That is, if you want a good relationship with a good man. If you prefer a domineering alpha-male type, buy the book "The Rules" instead. :-)

This book gave me the practical advice which helped me get some success in meeting desirable men and allowed me to gain confidence in myself. Without out this book I would, like many of my friends, have given up and stayed at home.

My soon-to-be husband is Romantically Illiterate. He will do romantic things, as long as I spell out each step of the way. I found this book on Amazon.com and figured why not. I ordered it and when it came in I read it from cover to cover highlighting everything I found romantic. (this book is now covered with yellow highlighting.) I put a ribbon around the book and gave it to my honey as a "just because I love you gift". This has changed our relationship. Its Great!!! Now all he has to do is open the book, look for the yellow, and do it. He doesnt have to think about it and I can be pleasantly surprised with whatever he chooses. I even look at it for ideas for him. Its a one in a million book.
